There is a wide range of prices....and they seem to be climbing with each listing. You can expect to pay anywhere from $100.00 to $150.00 ...... Yard, estate and tag sales seem to be a good place to find these guys but I have never been that lucky... A new old stock Thermobaker came my way and definitely overpaid but wanted the thrill of the brand new item...now, I have a brand new [new old stock in original box] set of triple pots coming ...

I called Hugh's Place in Louisiana, and they quoted me $140 for a complete t-baker. Be sure the one you buy has the rack included. You should pay less if it is missing.

I've seen thermobakers go for up to $275 or so on eBay. Nevermind that you can buy 'em from Hugh's place for half that. That kind of rational logic doesn't figure in the calculus that is eBay.

It was an accident, I swear. I didn't mean to do it....it just sort of came to me....I was at Gigi"s and after she warmed up to me and realized I wasn't trying to sell her something but trying to buy....she said she knew a guy who knew a guy who had some Chambers things he wanted to get rid of and she would get mea phone number...and I called and ******d and I bought what he had. His offerings were minimal...just the Thermobaker, the triple pots and a pot lifter and another pot, a small thing for roasting, I believe, that I have on hold until I can afford to buy it...he's not inexpensive....so I'm limiting myself to one purchase a month.

I have only seen photos of the thermobaker. Can someone tell me what the base is made of? It looks like it might be cast iron?

I'm looking for a thermobaker. Any ideas on what they are going for these days?

Well, it is definitely NOT cast iron...aluminum or some other light metal is the construction material. Actually, I don't think it is aluminum, I'll bet Joe, Sam, Todd, Chipper, Robbie, Annnt and others do know !

I have a thermobaker and it appears to be some type of steel, perhaps stainless. Mine is bronze-ish in color though, could this be due to heating? I am not a metallurgist though, just a product marketing manager and a cat juggler, and a fancier of fine milk chocolates.
